Photographing in restaurants depends a lot on the lighting, equipment, and subject or object you will be shooting. Ismail Sirdah says, “Will you be photographing people, food, the kitchen, etc.? Each photograph will come out differently depending on what you are trying to capture.”

Beyond telling your story, in order to properly photograph inside a restaurant you need to have exceptional lighting. This is true because most restaurants are dimly lit as it is. However, once you know for sure what you will be photographing, the rest will come naturally.
